The Springs Poetry Hall Wedding | Becky + Cordon

Here’s the sweet story behind Becky and Cordon’s The Springs Poetry Hall wedding. Becky and Cordon met while studying at Baylor University and their love story forever continued! When Cordon was ready to pop the question, they took a walk around a lake which they had done so many times before, and on the spot, he decided it was the perfect time to pop the question and completely took Becky by surprise! After graduation and getting engaged, the couple moved to Nashville for less than a year, and just had to move back to their home of Dallas, Texas, just about a month before the big day. So, to say the least, planning was a little crazy; but it truly came together beautifully (I mean, see their stunning photographs below)!

This couple truly embraced every second of their May wedding and remembered the importance of what their day was all about. The plan was to originally have an outdoor ceremony, but unfortunately a few hours before the it all began, it started to pour rain – the sky was completely BLACK & looked like it would never end, so the plan shifted everything indoors. However, our planner let us know that one of her favorite parts of the day was when they were getting close to the ceremony start time, and the couple accepted that they just were not going outside at that point, but then out of nowhere it suddenly stopped raining and the sun came out! Becky & Cordon had huge smiles on their faces & took advantage of the moments of sunshine & took the most MAGNIFICENT photographs of them & their bridal party outdoors! With the sun peaking out through the clouds, and the forest backdrop, their photographs were truly magical, and made the rain all worth it!

The way Becky + Cordon embraced the rain on their day, the way they embraced planning a wedding all while moving across the country twice in a year, and the way they embraced each other, truly made them one of our planner’s favorites and a wedding she will always remember! xoxo
