The Loft at Studio J Wedding | Erin & Rod

When we think of our weddings over the years, we feel fortunate to have worked with a vast variety of “types” and themes. And we’re pretty certain that Erin + Rod’s wedding day will go down as one of our favorites as of late. These two are true soulmates. They’re so connected. They have an infectious love that you is so apparent when you spend time with them. And their friends and family are an incredible support system that obviously adores them.

Erin looked stunning in her illusion back sheath style gown- and it fit her like a glove. She was a vision!

The couple opted for a first look with a twist. Instead of sharing the moment just them, it was decided to have family and bridal party witness the occasion. So as Erin rounded the corner of the courtyard, Rod practically exploded with tears, and their happy laughter floated through the air while the rest of the group had a collective gasp & stood awe-struck as they united. You can see in the background of the images Rod’s family just glowing. The joy was incredible. It was, hands down, one of our favorite moments to see captured.

The decor for the wedding was fantastic too- The Loft at Studio J has an industrial vibe and their rich jewel tone color combination was beautiful in the space! The wedding was close to the Christmas holiday, and you can see the subtle influence of a Winter Wonderland inspiration.
