Brittany and Andrew were so easy to work with. They are both such special, incredible people and their wedding planning process reflected that. While they were so easy going and laid back, yet simultaneously very intentional about their details and day.
Simply stated, the day was just very special. Working at Salvage One was a great experience- the venue is so unique! They’re a 60,000 square foot vintage Chicago warehouse with exposed brick, large windows, and wood floors. They also have an eclectic mix of furniture- which fit right in with the couple’s theme.
The day ran seamlessly and the ceremony in particular (officiated by Andrew’s groom’s father) was a beautiful representation of their relationship, families, and friends. The couple had an “alternative” wedding party, which we loved seeing because it really “defied tradition” in lieu of doing what felt right to them as a couple.
They used Andrew’s late grandmother’s books in their centerpieces- it was such a beautiful way to remember her and looked so pretty in the low light! Paired with a variety of vases and wildflowers, it was perfectly whimsical, bohemian and homey.
