Bridgeport Art Center Wedding Featured on Style Me Pretty | Nicole & Peter

Nicole and Peter’s Persian wedding, hosted at the Bridgeport Art Center (one of our favorite Chicago wedding venues) was an amazing representation of diversity! We loved seeing all of the amazing details come together to create a truly unique and memorable event.

The couple’s wedding was actually featured on Style Me Pretty (yay)! Because Nicole was interviewed for the feature, we thought you’d rather hear from her, than us! So there are a few exerts from the interview, and we’ve also linked the feature below to read the entire story!

“Our ceremony was split into two segments: first part Persian, second part American. We really wanted the ceremony to reflect who we were as a couple and wrote the program from scratch. The sofreh aghd – a traditional Persian spread with a number of items, each symbolizing good wishes and blessings – was the centerpiece of our Persian ceremony. With our longtime friends as officiants, we recited traditional Persian vows and our own, and had Lebanese and Persian poems read.”
