Martin & Chuck- Colorado Wedding

Martin and Chuck were officially united as husband and husband exactly 20 years after their first date. If that doesn’t give you chills and make you tear up, well… then you aren’t a sentimental softy like us! Ha! The PARTY was 2 days later on June 3rd at Autumn Park (an intimate setting at their community park). This was no “reception” – this was a celebration of their life and love, a carefree, casual, and fun day that brought together everyone that supports and cares for them.

We (meaning Taylor, our Denver planner) worked with Martin and Chuck for about two and a half months – together we were able to finalize an overall vision of the day & decor. Which, can we say, was SUCH fun.

The grooms weren’t shy about embracing the “token rainbow”- we helped them incorporate this theme through white & rainbow colored linen, as well as super colorful floral arrangements. It wasn’t crazy wild but it was just obvious enough to appreciate.

Martin and Chuck LOVE to bike ride – and the significance of the cake topper (“The Ride of Our Lives”) was perfect!!

In lieu of a “traditional” bouquet toss, Mr & Mr had a “drawing” for their guests! It was so fun… they put all the “eligible” guests’ names in a bowl and then right after the cake cutting, they drew names to see what guest walked away with a floral arrangement! We adore that this couple wanted to truly include every guest in the festivities.

It was an honor to “break into” the Denver market with Martin & Chuck’s union. We had a blast and so enjoyed working with all of the vendors that made the day possible. It’s refreshing and exciting to be surrounded by such acceptance. We truly believe that everyone deserves the wedding day of their dreams- however they define it!
