Maggie & Kyle -Ascension Church & Renaissance Chicago O’Hare Suites Hotel Wedding

Maggie knew she wanted a day full of sparkle- and we’re not just talking about a little bit of glitter. When one of the stipulations for a perfect wedding day include gold sequins in the decor, you know it’s going to be fun! This elegant, glitzy affair was full of classic elements and feminine details.

A little background about this couple… Maggie loves to plan a good party. Kyle not only knows this about his now wife but knew how to play the trait to his advantage during their courtship. He convinced Maggie to plan a party for their friends and family while they were dating. After she carefully crafted every detail, he surprised her with a proposal! Making all of her hard work and effort not only memorable but once in a lifetime memorable! Her detailed planning meant that their engagement party was exactly as she would have envisioned! Pretty clever, if you ask us!

When it came to the wedding planning, Maggie and Kyle wanted a beautiful wedding day that celebrated their love and new marriage. Where their guests were treated to a great (and pretty) party!

Soft pink, creamy ivory and metallic gold as the color inspiration, Maggie and Kyle selected a venue that had just completed a major renovation- which was a huge bonus for the overall look and feel of the day. It was clean, crisp and tastefully done.

They had a traditional catholic ceremony at the GORGEOUS Ascention Church. The cathedral is just breathtaking.

Since their wedding day happened to be on Gram Grams’s birthday, they knew they day wouldn’t be complete without a mini-celebration for HER special occasion. They surprised her with her own cake and a Happy Birthday serenade. Seriously, so sweet!
