Minneapolis Event Center – Lauren and Mark’s Rainy Wedding

Lauren and Mark had their Spring wedding at Minneapolis Event Center on May 20th. Their ceremony was at United Methodist Church and their reception ended in Minneapolis – their day was PACKED with love, guests (250+ guest list!) and rain! Yes, lots and lots of rain. May 2017 is on record for being *one* of the rainiest months in Minnesota history! Lauren and Mark embraced the rain, and didn’t let the weather get in the middle of one ounce of their big, fun wedding.

While their guests rushed into the venues because of the rain, Lauren and Mark actually went out into rain and walked around the City! They had their bridal session outside, and their pictures are seriously stunning (scroll down!) Lauren’s gown was so delicate with the lace bow, yet it still highlighted the industrial vibe of their wedding. The pale pink color accentuated the industrial venue too, and really focused on bringing the outside greenery into the tablescape!

Inside Minneapolis Event Center, Lauren and Mark’s reception was nothing short of a romantic, garden modern wedding – it was jaw-dropping. Their tablescape highlighted modern geometric shapes, rose gold and the softest romantic touch of greenery. Above the head table was a floral installation (that we *still* dream about) paired with drop edison bulbs for warm ambiance. A.MAZE.ING

Truly.

After celebrating their marriage with a small cake to cut, the couple welcomed donuts and a non-stop dance party for their guests. Lauren and Mark’s wedding was truly unforgettable – from the rain outside to the rain dance inside (see last bridesmaid photo below ;)) we loved every single thing about their day!!
