Camp Hale Wedding | Maddie and Avner’s Misty Mountain Wedding!

Maddie and Avner had their Camp Hale wedding in the mountains in Vail, Colorado in September. We were so thrilled to be their Colorado wedding planners. Like any other mountain day, the weather was insanely unpredictable and crazy – and when we say crazy we mean, it rained ALL day! The mountains were misty, the rain was non-stop, and and there was an ever-present chill in the air. The scenery however left no choice but to have their ceremony outside – and when you see the photos below you will see why, #ceremonygoals (wow!!!)

The rain stopped for exactly thirty minutes in the afternoon. Everyone (guests included) ran to the ceremony site and bundled up with blankets. The rain started up literally right after the ceremony ended, and everyone was so thankful to enjoy the rest of the evening under a romantically lit beautiful white tent. It was perfect.

Maddie and Avner have been dating for seven years, and her brother officiated the extremely heartfelt ceremony (swoon!) The ceremony and their entire day was filled with laughter, non-stop laughter. Overall, their wedding style focused on simple, natural, clean tones. Lots of bright white, muted lemon, greenery (always) and just the slightest amount of shimmer!! Their Cigar Bar was a hit for all of their guests, and we LOVED the soft touches of rustic mountain throughout their tablescape (white antlers!)

Their florals were sourced from Holland (Flower Power Wash Park) and the ceremony arbor was TRULY one-of-a-kind with the standing Aspens. The stationery, Maddie designed on Minted.com and then had a hand-drawn map made for her guests and their travels. It was simple, yet sophisticated. It makes our hearts flutter! Also, Maddies shoes… they are what our dreams are made of! Seriously, we could go on and on…

Maddie and Avner’s wedding was truly incredible. Maddie and Avner are incredible too – their love radiates the room, you can feel *it* when you are with them, truly. The newlyweds night ended with a jam-packed dance floor, a sparkler send-off underneath the mountain stars and a honeymoon to Bali (amaaazing!)
