Brittney + Alex’s Modern Figueroa Mountain Farmhouse Wedding

Brittney and Alex had their STUNNING destination wedding at Figueroa Mountain Farmhouse on November 4th in Santa Ynez Valley, California. The couple planned their California dream destination wedding from Chicago- and let us be the first to say, it LOOKED exactly like it was out of dream! The whole entire day was beyond magical – the sunny haze, the open fields, the rolling mountains, the perfect little farmhouse venue… and spoiler alert, the place cards were bundles of sage! #stunningmagicalwedding

The ceremony was outside in the Santa Ynez Valley, it featured a string quartet, rustic wood benches and the most amaaazing floor floral arrangement of all time (trust us on this!) After an intimate exchanging of rings, Alex and Brittney ventured off into the surrounding fields to celebrate being newlyweds and their guests enjoyed a sophisticated cocktail hour outside under the California sun.

For reception, the guests were welcome into the farmhouse for dinner. The farmhouse was decorated like it was *literally* out of Martha Stewart Weddings by the way (scroll down and see for yourself!) Long exposed farm tables were complimented by simple yet modern ghost chairs and soft bistro lighting. The tablescape was lots of fresh garland and fruits, so gorgeous! Table numbers were soft-marbled geodes and the place cards (as mentioned above) were sage sticks. IN.CRED.IBLE.

Brittney and Alex were really intentional about the overall design and aesthetic of their wedding day; overall their day reflected just that. Brittney and Alex’s wedding reflected the natural elegance of nature while also being elevated too. The ambiance was warm, the smiles were big, and the entire day was SO full of love. The images show the true essence of the day, photographer Katch Silva captured the day perfectly too! Santa Ynez Valley turned out to be such a great destination to celebrate love and beauty, not only every day but especially for Brittney and Alex!
