Kristin and Luke had their winter wedding at Aria in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on December 2nd 2017. The two are from Minnesota and despite it being December in “the frozen tundra,” the weather was unpredictably warm and felt more like a crisp day in spring. Aside from the abundance of sunshine, their decor, their FLORALS, her DRESS and the overall design of their wedding was spot on.

Their wedding was a black-tie affair (perfect for winter!) In addition to the guests donning classic black, the wedding party (bridesmaids) were also in black floor-length gowns. So timeless! With the complimentary color of black as the main palette, Kristin and Luke decided to also highlight the colors gold and a deep berry merlot – it was STUNNING! The florals were big and bright, without being too overpowering (so dreamy) and the tablescape featured black napkins presented in black bow-ties!! We are SUCH a sucker for details like that!

Kristin and Luke envisioned a classic wedding with a modern twist – See the photos below, they nailed it! From their venue choice (Aria) leaning more modern, they added were able to add in elements such as chandeliers and candles to soften and bring in the classic romantic glow. Their ceremony set was a CIRCLE – so unifying it itself, right?! Timeless, unique and modern – their wedding WAS a vision in itself.

Not only do we LOVE the design of this wedding, but we LOVE the feels we get when we look at the photos. Kristin and Luke’s day was loaded with love and laughter… and lots of bro-hugs (see below!) We are beyond honored to have been a part of this day – it was equally as gorgeous as it was fun! One of those wedding where as a Planner you don’t want the DJ to play the last song… #OneMoreSong
