Ritz Carlton Chicago Wedding featured in Wedding Guide Chicago | Aimee & Jimmy

After having their formal ceremony + marriage in Taiwan, Jimmy & Aimee hosted an upscale affair here in America. With all the best that Aimee’s parents could offer, they celebrated their union in a grand way. Because they had already hosted a traditional Taiwanese ceremony in Aimee’s home country, they incorporating traditional American rituals during their American ceremony (such as the unity candle). Following their ceremony, they hosted a gorgeous reception at the Ritz with a vibrant color pallet and intricate, glamorous details.

Aimee wore a custom Vera Wang veil and dress and carried a lush bouquet of pink peonies + roses. After a touching Father’s toast with copious tears, the duo danced (they had a beautifully choreographed number) and laughed, celebrating with friends from near and far.
