Mayra + Nikko had the ultimate The Old Post Office Chicago wedding, and we were so honored to have been a part of it! Our incredible Chicago wedding planner Ashley absolutely loved working with these two while planning their beautiful church ceremony, and their reception at one of Chicago’s new & unique wedding venues! To say we were thrilled to have a client at this location is an understatement!
Once bustling with mail carriers & patrons, The Old Post Office Chicago was transformed into an event space of epic proportions, and one that instantly impresses anyone that steps foot inside! This dreamy wedding day was filled with romantic blooms, gorgeous pampas grass, laughter, and some of the most meaningful moments we have ever experienced. From watching the groom’s reaction seeing his bride walk down the aisle, to the beautiful speeches that brought all to happy tears, we were in awe of just how much love & beauty that surrounded the couple that day!

“We met in New York in 2015 while working at the same hospital, Nikko was an orthopedic surgery resident and I was an operating room nurse. We had several mutual friends and got to know each other during social events outside the hospital. Nikko eventually worked up the nerve to ask me out and we started dating. The rest is history.
Flash forward a couple of years, we had moved to California for my fellowship. We were looking to do a celebratory end-of-the-year vacation. I suggested we do the road trip down the Pacific Coast Highway. We took a sunrise hot air balloon flight in Napa and he proposed mid-flight.
After having to postpone things because of the pandemic, we were finally able to celebrate our big day on 8/7/21. It was an incredible day surrounded by friends and family celebrating our love.“
