Lizzie & Blair’s Traditional Chicago Wedding

When we hear the phrase that laughter is contagious, we immediately think abut Lizzie & Blair. This couple is GOOFY in the most amazing way. They approach everything with humor, which made the planning process beyond fun! And the wedding day? We laughed so hard we cried.

We loved the classic color pairing of navy and white- it was perfect for the traditional catholic church wedding & University Club of Chicago reception. Every detail of the day was refined and elegant. But above all, the emotional moments between Lizzie & Blair made our hearts swell. We would find ourselves catching private glimpses between the two- fits of giggles might even erupt.

And can we just take a moment to talk about the reception venue? The floor to ceiling windows is jaw-droppingly gorgeous. And the cathedral ceilings are heavenly. The architecture is truly enchanting and doesn’t need much to make it look good. But the decor chosen by the couple was a perfect enhancement. The combination of tall and low centerpieces with white and blue floral ensured a light and airy feel (Kehoe Designs knocks it out of the park every single time)! Accented with foliage and candlelight made it very romantic!

The adorable bear details that you see below and on our Instagram page are a nod to Blair’s nickname, “Blair Bear”.
