Chicago Venue Highlight | Bridgeport Art Center

With doing our very first venue highlight, we looked back at all of our past events, and one venue truly stood out as one of our most visited venues for our team here in Chicago – This venue is called Bridgeport Art Center. Located in a historic 1911 building right off of I-94 & I-55, and right down the street from the White Sox Stadium, this gorgeous, loft, & unique venue offers two different options for wedding ceremonies & receptions that are perfect for all types of events & guest counts!

Skyline Loft:

Skyline Loft, which is on the 5th floor of the venue, is the ultimate blank space where your vision can be created into reality! Asking why it is called Skyline Loft? Well not only is the space beautiful, but it also has stunning panoramic views of you guessed it… the Chicago Skyline! We absolutely love this space for not only being a blank canvas where you can make it your very own, but it also is set up perfectly to easily transition your guests throughout your events!

Facts about Skyline Lofts:

• Accommodates 100-900 guests for a Cocktail Party set-up

• Accommodates 100-600 guests for a traditional sit-down Reception

Sculpture Garden:

Sculpture Garden, which is located on the ground level of the venue, is one of our FAVORITE spaces for a Ceremony! Their courtyard located right outside of the ballroom where you could host your dinner reception, has been created perfectly for a stunning aisle, including white drapery & chandeliers going right down the center that will leave your guests in awe! The dinner reception area is also a blank space & allows you to easily bring your vision to life!

• Accommodates up to 900 guests for a Cocktail Party set-up

• Accommodates up to 550 guests for a traditional sit-down Reception

This venue has so many perks as well! For those in the business, have been married before, or those looking at other venues in Chicago, you will know that the fact that Bridgeport Art Center has a complimentary parking lot is HUGE! Also, you can bring in your very own caterer, which means really personalizing your menu & the type of food you would like to serve! They have truly thought of everything at this venue, and have set it up in a way that makes planning a wedding here as simple as can be! We truly LOVE this location, their team, and the weddings we have done here, and we cannot recommend Bridgeport Art Center enough for your dream day! xoxo
