Minneapolis Wedding Planner | Aria - Kristin + Luke's Modern Winter Wedding!

Kristin and Luke had their winter wedding at Aria in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on December 2nd 2017.  The two are from Minnesota and despite it being December in "the frozen tundra," the weather was unpredictably warm and felt more like a crisp day in spring. Aside from the abundance of  sunshine, their decor, their FLORALS, her DRESS and the overall design of their wedding was spot on.

Their wedding was a black-tie affair (perfect for winter!) In addition to the guests donning classic black, the wedding party (bridesmaids) were also in black floor-length gowns. So timeless! With the complimentary color of black as the main palette, Kristin and Luke decided to also highlight the colors gold and a deep berry merlot - it was STUNNING! The florals were big and bright, without being too overpowering (so dreamy) and the tablescape featured black napkins presented in black bow-ties!!  We are SUCH a sucker for details like that!

Kristin and Luke envisioned a classic wedding with a modern twist - See the photos below, they nailed it! From their venue choice (Aria) leaning more modern, they added were able to add in elements such as chandeliers and candles to soften and bring in the classic romantic glow. Their ceremony set was a CIRCLE - so unifying it itself, right?! Timeless, unique and modern - their wedding WAS a vision in itself.

Not only do we LOVE the design of this wedding, but we LOVE the feels we get when we look at the photos. Kristin and Luke's day was loaded with love and laughter... and lots of bro-hugs (see below!) We are beyond honored to have been a part of this day - it was equally as gorgeous as it was fun! One of those wedding where as a Planner you don't want the DJ to play the last song... #OneMoreSong

Destination Wedding Planner | Moab Utah - Natalie + Colby's Dreamy Desert Wedding

Natalie and Colby had their destination wedding in Moab, Utah on October 14th 2017.  Late fall is a perfect time for a desert wedding. The temperature is hot enough during the day, where you feel like you are in a desert, yet when the sun starts to dip in the canyon you can feel just the slightest amount of chill in the air. It's desert weather without all the heat, like we said, it is perfect.

Moab is a special place to both Natalie and Colby - throughout their time dating, they went hiking and camping several times in Moab. Not only is the town home to TWO National Parks (hello, Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park) but it also feels like home to Natalie and Colby too. When planning for their wedding it was only natural that Moab was the number one choice for both of them. Together, they not only wanted an *amazingly beautiful* backdrop for their ceremony but they really wanted to show all their guests why Moab is their favorite place to adventure.

Throughout the year of planning, Natalie really wanted to focus in on overall wedding design. She wanted the design to speak for itself, just as the destination of Moab does too. By playing with the natural tones of the desert, and adding in some funky textures (marble, copper, leather) we were able to achieve exactly the vision that Natalie had. So much fun! The color palette highlighted creamy earth tones with just the the slightest pop of desert orange. The florals brought the color palette to life (understatement!) and the tablescape design was EVERYTHING. We are obsessed!

The day itself was filled with happy happy tears *real wedding moments* and small little adventures that just Natalie and Colby got to partake in. Their ceremony was on the lawn at Red Cliffs Lodge, overlooking the Colorado River. Natalie's dear friend was their officiant, and their vows to each other made everyone reach for a tissue (seriously!) Cocktail hour immediately followed, and for the reception guests walked down a short desert path to the Castle Creek Winery onsite. The reception room was utterly transformed into an fun yet sophisticated desert wedding, it was super dreamy! The reception design featured a custom installation of edison bulb lights hanging over every single table, a sweetheart table fit for a King and Queen and jewel-toned water goblets for each guest. STUNNING.

Natalie and Colby's wedding was beautiful, elegant, timeless and unique - everything you could ever wish for! The heartfelt toast from Natalie's dad at the end of the night (complete with a slideshow) was one for the books and the epic dance party that ensued afterwards had everyone out of their chairs for the rest of the night. It was SUCH a fun night to an amazing celebration and drop-dead gorgeous wedding!

* For us, Moab proved to be one of the most perfect destinations for a wedding (we may be a bit biased ;)) Red Cliffs Lodge was an amazing venue and we can't wait to be back! We are ALL for destination weddings - this one in particular was so much fun to plan and design!

Chicago Wedding Planner | Artifact Events - Sarah + Benny's STUNNING Winter Wedding!

Sarah and Benny had their Chicago wedding at Artifact Events on December 9th, 2017. On their day, everything came together flawlessly - like out of a dream serious perfection! From the *perfect* amount of snow dust on the streets of Chicago, to Sarah's impeccable off-the-shoulder lace gown (not to mention, her Valentino shoes) and to every little detail in-between; this wedding was incredible, stunning, and the word we rarely use to describe wedding days, perfect.

To start off, we need to say that the day itself WAS amazing AND that the pictures below are *just* as amazing too. We would tell you to jump ahead and scroll down right now (because you NEED to see the images!) but what fun is it not knowing some details, right? :) Sarah and Benny's photographer, Paper Antler, absolutely nailed the vision and *perfectly* captured the complete ambiance and essence of the big day. Every single image is incredible, and quite frankly, it was a challenge narrowing it down to just a gallery to showcase... we digress!

Sarah and Benny are both from Chicago, so when they planned their dream wedding in the City they knew how to do it big! The two celebrated their ceremony in the traditional Chicago chapel, St. Alphonsus. After the ceremony, the newlyweds pranced in the streets and soaked up the freshly snow-lined cobblestone streets. Their wedding party followed them around the City, and together, they all found a *perfect* alley behind The Drake Hotel to take *the most gorgeous* winter wedding party pictures to date! After soaking up the afternoon, Sarah and Benny sauntered into their reception and were greeted by celebratory cheers and clinking of glasses! **cue the happy tears**

Things we LOVED about Sarah and Benny's wedding (aside from everything!) - Benny's smile the whole entire day, the ALL WHITE Bridesmaid dresses (#bridesmaidgoals), mix-matched fur shawls, jaw-droppingly gorgeous florals and garland, the simple yet modern reception set (complete with ghost chairs), bistro lighting hung vertically, die-cut place cards, classic bridal look. (we can keep going....)

This wedding was modern, classic and oh-so-inspiring! The all-white color palette is one of our favorites we have seen recently - and it's so timeless AND goes with every season too! Sarah and Benny's perfectly-planned day concluded through the night with extremely thoughtful toasts and a packed dance floor. This wedding was JUST as gorgeous as it looks (scroll down for ALL the images!) We can't wait for you to share our daydreams of this wedding. Insanely stunning and utterly perfect <3
