Chicago Wedding Planner | The Armour House - Mitra and Brad's Persian Wedding Day

Mitra and Brad had their Chicago wedding at The Armour House at Lake Forest Academy on August 12th. Their ceremony was following the practices of traditional Persian culture, as Mitra herself is Persian - it was so uniquely gorgeous! The day itself was bright, sunny and beautiful, filled with an abundance of love and Persian culture.  The details were endless, and there are no words to describe her headpiece - stunning!

The florals were designed by Mitra herself (and created/brought to life by AEG!) We LOVE how her bridesmaids dresses are intentionally mis-matched, yet still pair PERFECTLY with their simple bouquets! Mitra's Persian style is elegant and bold, a unique classic.

Mitra's two best friends were the officiants for their Persian ceremony. It made everything so personal and heartfelt! After the ceremony, Mitra and Brad danced their way into their reception (per Persian culture.) In addition to that, the two celebrated the Persian tradition of the "Knife Dance"-  where the ladies at the wedding party take the knife to cut the cake and the Groom has to pay them back to retrieve the knife to cut the cake! It was fun to watch all of their guests be involved, so many laughs!

Brad and Mitra's wedding was tailored not only their fun personalities, but their culture and style too. It was the Persian Wedding in Chicago that they had always dreamed of - and it was truly SUCH an honor to help create their vision and bring it to life in the City! AMAZING vendor team as always ~ these images are to die for!

Wisconsin Wedding Planner | Lussier Family Heritage Center - Courtney and Tom's Summer Wedding

Courtney and Tom had their Wisconsin wedding at Lussier Family Heritage Center in August this summer! Their wedding was everything you would expect at a quintessential Wisconsin wedding - hot weather, green grass, a gorgeous barn, a cute dog, and the most dreamy blush wedding gown ever.  Their day was filled with soft lush details (greenery and braid in Courtney's hair) and an overall casual calm ambiance. It was perfect.

Both Courtney and Tom decided they didn't want to see each other until the ceremony (sooo romantic!) Right after the ceremony concluded, the two enjoyed some time as *fresh* newlyweds (plus their pup!) and had a quick bridal session with their photographer too. The photos below are some of our favorites! You can just feel the love between these two, it makes our hearts melt! #WisconsinBride.

Minnesota Wedding Planner | Minneapolis Event Center - Lauren and Mark's Rainy Wedding.

Lauren and Mark had their Spring wedding at Minneapolis Event Center on May 20th. Their ceremony was at United Methodist Church and their reception ended in Minneapolis - their day was PACKED with love, guests (250+ guest list!) and rain! Yes, lots and lots of rain. May 2017 is on record for being *one* of the rainiest months in Minnesota history! Lauren and Mark embraced the rain, and didn't let the weather get in the middle of one ounce of their big, fun wedding.

While their guests rushed into the venues because of the rain, Lauren and Mark actually went out into rain and walked around the City! They had their bridal session outside, and their pictures are seriously stunning (scroll down!) Lauren's gown was so delicate with the lace bow, yet it still highlighted the industrial vibe of their wedding. The pale pink color accentuated the industrial venue too, and really focused on bringing the outside greenery into the tablescape!

Inside Minneapolis Event Center, Lauren and Mark's reception was nothing short of a romantic, garden modern wedding - it was jaw-dropping. Their tablescape highlighted modern geometric shapes, rose gold and the softest romantic touch of greenery. Above the head table was a floral installation (that we *still* dream about) paired with drop edison bulbs for warm ambiance. A.MAZE.ING

Truly.

After celebrating their marriage with a small cake to cut, the couple welcomed donuts and a non-stop dance party for their guests. Lauren and Mark's wedding was truly unforgettable - from the rain outside to the rain dance inside (see last bridesmaid photo below ;)) we loved every single thing about their day!!
