Minimalistic Rustic Colorado Mountain Styled Shoot

Now that we have a Denver branch, we thought it only appropriate to share some of our favorite mountain inspiration! Taylor, our Denver branch manager, put this shoot together in less than a week (whaaaa?!)! With the help of our amazing photographer, Jamie Beth, we worked together to create our vision and get all the vendors in place.

There is a misconception that minimalistic decor can’t be bold. We disagree! We wanted something classy, simple and elegant… something that featured the natural mountain backdrop of Colorado, but also highlighted the green and white color palette of the spring season in the mountains. Subtle touches of rich wood decor and just the slightest hint of gold made this pretty package absolute mountainside perfection.

This shoot was done at a local restaurant in Frisco, CO area called Tavern West. Taylor LOVED the dark wood and inviting atmosphere- and the contrast it provided with the decor elements was exactly what she wanted! The crisp white linen and brass flatware was spot on!

Tavern West proves to be an awesome location for a rehearsal dinner or intimate reception, killer patio and great mountain views (as you can see!)!

All of the vendors were truly AMAZING to work with. They collaborated with us so well and really helped us pull off something beautiful in a VERY short turnaround. We applaud their teamwork mentality!

The vintage chest, crystal glasses and brass silverware (omg!!) made us giddy. The stationary was absolutely amazing – do you see the laser cut detail in the invites?! The vertical lighting was a last-minute collaboration with a DJ company. After seeing it in photos, there is no doubt that it would be a PERFECT backdrop for a ceremony or for a photobooth !

We’re so excited to see all of the amazing events to come out of Denver in the near future!
