A Note From Our Team

Well hey there! 

We are so happy that you are here! Are you feeling a little overwhelmed with planning your wedding? Don’t worry, we’ve got you! While we have you, we want to let you in on a little known secret. That yes, even if your venue is offering a “complimentary coordinator” you more than likely still need us. Let us explain...

We love working hand-in-hand with venues, so that they can do what they do best (provide awesome hospitality) while we do what we do best (execute your wedding vision.) Often when venues have a "complimentary wedding planner" as an incentive for booking their venue, they merely promise a person that will be present only on the wedding day, but not a true wedding planner.  

Some venues may offer a bit more, but make sure you get an itemized list of what they plan to do for you. Will they be setting up all your decor even if your ceremony is offsite? Are they helping you with your first look photos? Will they coordinate and lend a helping hand with all vendors (even assist with the floral install if needed)? Will they cue the DJ and Photographer along with all your loved ones giving speeches? Will they be tearing everything down at the end of the night? 

In our experience, probably not. And we don't want you to have to worry about those things!

The thing is: planners do about 90% of the work before the wedding day even happens and coordinates with all vendors so that you don’t have to. As wedding planners, we work for you, and our commitment is to you.

One of the first decisions we made was to use The Simply Elegant Group to help us plan our wedding, as we are currently living in Texas, but had our ceremony up in Minneapolis. SEG made the whole process a total breeze. We had a pretty minimal vision for what we wanted the day to look like, and our planner took that and ran with it, and made everything stunning. She kept us on track, guided us to vendors that would fit our style & price range, and was seriously available for questions or concerns every single day. SEG helped us plan for things that we didn't even consider and was truly a friend through the engagement. Not only must they complete rigorous in-person training as 2nd assistants, but they must also go through over 40 hours of training and pass a set of comprehensive assessments. This extensive training means you get to work with planners that not only have real wedding experience, but that have been tested and mentored by our senior planning team.

The Signature Package

This is for you if

You want an expert by your side throughout the entire planning process. 

With full-service planning, you connect with your lead planner and hit the ground running right away. Whether you are interested in a collaborative experience or if you would like to be provided options from which to pick and choose, we will customize your experience to fit your preferences. Couples that are planning from out of state often choose this option, as we will function as your expert eyes and ears. Among other things, with full-service planning, we will help find your venue, curate your wedding design, assist with setting your budget, connect you with the perfect vendors, and, of course, be with you on your wedding day.

The Day of Plus Package

This is for you if

You want extra hands-on guidance, support, and pre-planning help beyond the month of the wedding.

This package includes everything in our Day Of package PLUS 10 additional hours of work together (to be used in whatever way you need us). That means that, for instance, you can use your extra time for additional insight on decor, help with the budget, advice on how to bring your vision together, or further recommendations and communication with vendors. 

Day of Coordination

This is for you if

You want to take the lead planning, but you want to feel present on your wedding day. 

With this package, communication starts 60 days out and there will be two timeline meetings: a month before the wedding and then 7-10 days before. We will complete your vendor callbacks for you during your wedding week and any other final touches. You also have us for ten hours on your wedding day. This way you can be present, stress-free, and save money along the way.
