Chicago Architectural Artifacts Wedding - Raina and Nick

Their middle names should be FUN because seriously, Raina and Nick are just joyous. Full of love, affection and plain and simple HAPPINESS!  The sunshine may have been absent from the big day, but the rain didn’t put a damper on these two at all. We could swear it added an element of fun that none of us anticipated.

This meant for each other couple can thank the internet for their romance! Thanks to a little site called OKCupid, these lovebirds bonded over a love of beer and laughter. By the fourth date, they knew they were hopelessly in love. The rest, as we hear, is History!

One of Raina’s best friends was their wedding photographer. And can we just say, this is one of those instances where choosing a friend as a wedding vendor was 100% encouraged. Rebecca is AMAZING!

Their first look could have made anyone well with emotion. Nick’s look of smitten surprise and Raina’s tears of happiness. The big day had finally arrived and they took the time to share some private moments before becoming husband and wife.

Their color pallet was so full of color! We LOVED the yellow, paired with pinks, peach and greens. Raina’s henna work was incredible. The intricate details were breathtaking! We adore cultural elements and this henna was no exception.

They opted for Architectural Artifacts venue in Ravenswood Chicago, which is such a neat space! We love working there because it provides such a unique experience and their team is really nice too.

Thanks so much to all the amazing vendors who helped make this day so enjoyable for Raina & Nick. And thank you to the Newlyweds for letting us be part of it! <3
