Styled For Good 2016- Aria Minneapolis
8 teams, 8 incredible visions, One AMAZING event. It was a labor of love to make this unique event come to fruition. This year's Styled for Good was hosted at the Aria Minneapolis. Which is a super amazing industrial chic wedding and event venue.
Here is a little background on Styled for Good... It is a non-profit wedding showcase focused on connecting couples in need with the right vendors for the wedding day. The twist to the traditional bridal show comes in where the proceeds from the event go. They're used toward event services for those who need it most (individuals, couples, organizations). To put it super simply- it's a way for vendors to donate, while still throwing an amazing party and connecting with people who are likeminded.
There were several groups of vendors that teamed up to create individual vignettes within the overall theme and decor. There were A LOT of hands that made these ideas a reality. And somehow, every single one worked individually and within the master scheme. It was beyond impressive.
Jennae (also the owner of Blush & Whim) and Kelly (owner of Maven Event Production and Floral Design) are the creators of Styled for Good. These amazing women are GO GETTERS and seriously embrace the Hustle, while maintaining such grace and composure. It has been such an amazing experience to watch them grow this baby (both figuratively and for Jennae, who is also growing a literal baby) and nurture this show into something so incredible.
We're actually part of a movement called Community Over Competition (#communityovercompetition) which was created by The Rising Tide Society. The mission of the group is to support and uplift each other. Which we LOVE! We fully embrace the importance of the wedding (and generally creative) industry professionals working TOGETHER to ensure our couples are supported and provided for to the best of our ability. Which is why we have NO ISSUE celebrating ALL of the wedding professionals that made Styled For Good so phenomenal this (and every) year!
Be sure to follow us on Instagram for more details on who contributed to which theme! The full vendor list is below too!
We loved the entry way's 50's style Florida golf course vibe designed by The White Room. The Flamingos were such a fun touch and created a funky and fun ambience.
We hope cake pops never go out of style. Not only do we love how they taste, but they're so versatile. You can get them in a ton of colors & accent with endless decorations. Plus, they make great guest favors.
Farina bakery never fails to impress us! This awesome Americana inspired table way delectible and beautiful. The cake was such a great focal point to the other tasty treats!
Copper Custom created this amazing bar for Girl Friday. It's an ultra modern statement piece that we can't wait to see again!
This colorful poolside vibes theme had spunk! We loved the lucite table used for the cake display. It was super chic. The whole vignette made us think about South Beach!
This vignette was just plain fun. It was 100% pool party inspired and we adored it.
This is where our theme starts! Give us all things green, and we'll add unexpected color and just a touch of retro glam.
We're so proud of how it all came together!
Black and gold for the WIN! This vignette was inspired by the desert. It kept within the modern lines, while adding some really unexpected elements. From the sand to the delicate blooms, the entire vignette reminded us of something we might see in a luxury Palm Springs resort. It was down to earth, yet glamorous.
These women from Enticing Entertainment were INCREDIBLE performers. It was the most visually stunning element of the entire night. KUDOS to them for providing such a jaw dropping experience for the attendees!
